Setting Up a CityMax Website Setting up your website with CityMax is simple and fast. Building your website is broken down into the following steps:
Once you’ve completed these steps, you will have created a website that meets your business’s online needs, all by yourself.
Sign-up Process
Signing up for and creating your website is done in a few seconds.
- Choose a website design. You'll see a variety of design templates – click one to apply it to your site. If you don't find one you like right away, don't worry. Once your trial is set up, you can choose always a new one.

- Create your account. This information will only be used by our Web Coaches to help you with your site. Make sure to enter a real email address when creating your account, since you will be receiving a confirmation email to validate your account.
- Choose a name for your website. With your trial you'll receive your own subdomain name (www.mysite.citymax.com). Once you activate your site, you can get your own custom domain name (www.mysite.com)!
- Click the big yellow button that says ‘Click Here To Build Site!'
- Choose a password . Make sure it's something you won't forget. You'll need it to log in and manage your website.
- Complete your Support Profile. This information will only be used by our Web Coaches to help you with your site.
- Click the big yellow button that says ‘Click Here To Build Site!'
It's that easy. Once you're signed up, your website is live on the Internet and can be seen by anyone. You are now able to personalize and tailor it to your business needs.
Tailoring Your Layout
The CityMax website builder is simple. Change your site’s content or look and feel with a few clicks. When you’re logged on, you’ll always see the same buttons at the top of your page.

This toolbar is what makes editing and changing your page easy. Each tab and button on the toolbar has a clear function and is grouped accordingly. No matter what you're currently doing in the program, the toolbar will always be there, allowing you to navigate through the process easily.
Adding/Editing Information and Images
Depending on your business, it may be necessary for you to update the information on your site on a regular basis. CityMax lets you make changes in seconds .
- Log in at www.CityMax.com .
- On your myHome page, click the ‘Edit' beside your site name to view a list of that website's pages.
- Click ‘Edit' beside the page you want to edit .
- Enter information into fields on the editing page.
- Click ‘Save Changes' .

Adding Pages
Although you start with 5 pages, CityMax lets you choose from 25 different page types that can be tailored to your business. You can add a feature like a Shopping Cart, Photo Album, or Newsletter at anytime.
- Under the ‘Edit Site' tab, click ‘Add Page' .
- Choose a Page Type from the menu.
- Name the Page.
- Click ‘Add Page' .
With so many page types to choose from, it's easy to get what you need for your business .

Changing Overall Design
One of the great features of CityMax is its flexibility . If at any point you want to change the look of your site, it's easy to do so. With 1500+ pre-designed templates , you may find several that you like. Even if you've already designed your site completely, it's never too late to change .
- Under the ‘Edit Site' tab, click ‘Site Design' .
- Select an appropriate category.
- Click on the design you like.
- Look at the Design Preview.
- Click ‘Apply Design' .
You've now changed the overall look of every page on your site in one easy step, without losing any of your work .
