How much does it cost?

The cost of your CityMax website is $19.98 per month.

Is web hosting included with my website?

Yes. $19.98/month includes everything: hosting, domain, email, business tools, shopping cart, online resources, support and more.

What are the browser requirements?

Your website can be edited and viewed in all the most popular browsers, including Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, and Mozilla Firefox.

How do I start building my website?

Click the ‘Free Trial’ link on the left side of the page. You’ll be able to set up your website right away. Then, learn how to customize it all with the Getting Started With CityMax printable start-up guide.

How do I log in to my website?

At the top right of the CityMax website, www.citymax.com, click ‘Login’. Then, enter your account email address and the password you chose when you set up your site.

Can I set up email with my website?

Yes. Your website comes with 5 email accounts. Once set up, these email accounts will contain your website’s domain name after the ‘@’ symbol, like john@mysite.com.

Can visitors see my toolbar and editing buttons?

While you are logged in to your website, you’ll see the toolbar at the top of the page. This toolbar is only visible to you, the site owner, when you’re logged in. Visitors are not able to see this toolbar. To see what a visitor sees, log out of your website by clicking ‘Exit’ on the toolbar and then clicking ‘Logout’. We recommend that you logout whenever you finish an editing session.

Can I use my own domain name?

Yes. If you’ve already purchased your own domain name, like www.mysite.com, you can easy apply it to your CityMax website. If you don’t already have a domain name, you can get one for free once you’ve activated your CityMax site. During the trial period your website uses a subdomain name, like www.mysite.citymax.com.

Can I sell products through my website?

Yes. Your CityMax website comes complete with product catalog pages that are easy to set up and customize. It also comes with a complete shopping cart that includes shipping and tax calculators.

What methods of payment can I accept?

Your CityMax website is very flexible and lets you accept a number of payment methods, including credit cards and PayPal. Plus, it’s easy to set up payment processing options, as your website is integrated with several payment processing services.
