November 15, 2009

VANCOUVER, BC – Dean Gagnon, CityMax.com Chief Evangelist and President, was today named to the prestigious Global Student Entrepreneur Awards' (GSEA) judging panel. The 2009 GSEA, held in Kansas City, Missouri, is the premier award for students that own and run a business while attending a college or university.

GSEA, an Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) program, has attracted top entrepreneurs from universities around the world since 1998. Gagnon, a board member of EO Vancouver, will assist in selecting the 2009 winner from among 30 of the world's regional finalists, in Kansas City, Missouri.

"At CityMax.com, we believe there is an entrepreneur in everyone, and this is an exciting chance to recognize the best and brightest student entrepreneurs in the world," said Gagnon. "I look forward to seeing how the next generation of small business owners are driving their success."

Hosted by the Kauffman Foundation, applicants are selected to compete against their peers by presenting their businesses to a panel of judges comprised of EO members, business luminaries and renowned national business journalists. The 2009 winner will receive $150,000 in cash and prizes, including access to EO's global network and thousands of dollars in donated business resources and services.
